Pour les lecteurs dérivant de ce blog, il est à remarquer que ce dit blog devient de plus en plus le repaire de pensées brèves et courtes, caverne à peine miroir d'un bloc neuronal. Bloc neuronal aux prises avec la Fille de Jade du Mystère Obscur.
Les images tracées apparaissent en d'autres lieux numériques. Ici sera le site des pensées perdues, de ce qui échappe. Benjamin écrit que toute pensée doit être chassée et fixée (je paraphrase), suivons ce flâneur hors-temps, ce marcheur créateur de résonances. Avec notre filet à papillon troué, nous tenterons de saisir ces pensées qui débordent en bute à la Fille de Jade du Mystère Obscur.
Nom de Vie
"Fille de Jade du Mystère Obscur" était le nom de la mère de Lao-Tseu. N'est-ce pas là un nom parfait pour dire ce qu'est la Vie?

MAB-Festival Internacional de Multimédia, Arte e Banda Desenhada it’s an event dedicated to various art forms such as: animation, illustration and comic books.
It’ll happen on 2 weekends 10/11th and 17/18th March on the faculties of the University of Fine Arts in Porto and it’ll have several renowned authors of these areas from countries like: United Kingdom, Belgium, Italy, Germany and Portugal.
Mainly addressed to a public interested on these art forms and from all ages will have activities like: exhibitions of originals of the authors presented, autographs sessions, presentation of short animation movies and masterclasses, we’ll have also a commercial area where’ll be the authors selling some of their products as well as book stores and publishing companies.
Regarding the schedule agenda of this event, we’ve to show an exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the comics character Prince Valiant (coordinated and with the cooperation of publisher Manuel Caldas) , an homage to editor/author Sergio Bonelli that passed away last year and a small one with our own character “Sketch” that’ll be designed by our graphic designer Jorge Ferreira and will serve as some kind of interaction with the comics con.
Oporto city doesn’t have an event like this for more than 11 years. The organization tries to show and promote to the public interested on these art forms some authors that aren’t well known in Portugal but show pieces of work of interest all over Europe.
By doing this we try to “Resurrect” a tradition of promotion of artists that like others such as Marjane Satrapi, Peter Kuper, Tom Hart, Ed Brubaker, Jason Lutes or Dave McKean (to name some), who had their first opportunity to contact Portuguese audience on the ancient comics con “Salão Internacional de Banda Desenhada do Porto” that finished on 2001.
MAB has some partners where the con will be: University of Fine Arts in Porto, Metro do Porto and the project Casa Viva.
Metro do Porto will promote this event with promotional videos on the screens of the main stations in Porto and will exhibit there two exhibitions. (Prince Valiant and Sketch).
CasaViva Project will have the other schedule agenda that will show to the public: presentations of editorial news, exhibitions of new Portuguese talents and concerts.
At the University of Fine Arts we’ll be an exhibition of homage to editor/author Sergio Bonelli.
The organization gives now a list of confirmed authors that isn’t yet finished from the United Kingdom.
Germany:
- Lars Henkel (comic book, illustration and animation author) being also the author of the illustration for the poster of our event.
- Ulli Lust (comic book and illustration author);
- Anke Feuchtenberger (comic book and illustration author);
- Ulf K. (comic book and illustration author).
Italy:
- Fábio Civitelli (comic book author of the popular character: Tex from the “fumetti” tradition)
Belgium:
- - Olivier Deprez (comic book author and one of the founders of Fremok publishing that was a resulto f the fusion of publishing companies: Amok and Fréon).
- Denis Deprez (comic book author and one of the founders of Fremok publishing that was a result of the fusion of publishing companies: Amok and Fréon).
Portugal:
- Regina Pessoa (illustration and animation author);
- Filipe Abranches (comic book author and animation);
- Pedro Serrazina (animation author);
- Hugo Teixeira (comic book author)
CasaViva will give room to new talents on areas such as: comic book, animation and illustration authors where they can promote and sell their works. MAB is open to new projects on these areas and all that we ask to people is to send their works towards the email that was created for this purpose: invictaindiearts@gmail.com.
Until the end of this month (January) will be launched our website or blog; where will be the rest of our schedule agenda, activities, prices for the con and where and how to buy them and other information.
This is an event without any budget, being possible only through partnerships and the work of this organization, being this event of public interest we ask to everybody to promote it by your available means. (be it by twitter, facebook, blog or website).
